HAS RON’S TIME RUN OUT?
MADRAS HIGH COURT GROUNDS
FOREIGN EVANGELISTS
The Law of the Land prevails
Justice has been rendered
Which in simple terms means the High Court issued directions to the Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri District, to execute the Leave the Country Notice of the Ministry of Home affairs, New Delhi, Letter No: 17016/3/98/ F.VII dated 2/7/2003 and the orders dated 05/09/2003 Letter No: 3608/A1/2003-1 given by the Under Secretary to Government, Public (Foreigners) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009.
It is still a wonder to me as how he managed to stay in India and convert so many people after being served with this notice in 2003. It has also become apparent during the investigations that he has not cared to register with the District’s Superintendent of Police and the concerned officials under the Foreigners Act, meaning he has not only overstayed and has abused the Bharatiya hospitality but also flouted Indian laws with practiced ease.
Ron Watts is currently in USA. He was re-elected last week as the President of the Southern Asia Division of the Seventh Day Adventists in the General Conference held in amidst great fanfare. His minions went ecstatic in announcing the reaching of the One million mark of Adventist conversions in India under the stewardship of this virulent proselytizer.

She is reported to have said about another case against his deposition before the Additional District Magistrate, Pathanamthitta, Kerala that they have gone on appeal in the Kerala High Court and the petition is pending before the court and that they would certainly get a favourable judgement. While the truth as I am told is that this appeal on behalf of Ron Watts has already been dismissed as infructuous by the Hon’ble Kerala High Court.
We are also informed that the White men in the General Conference, the Adventist NRIs and the 200 strong contingent of Watt’s supporters, took her very seriously because of her position as the Junior Advocate to the wife of India’s Finance Minister. For a change, a native played the white queen in the General Conference, rendering the Bishops on the board as pawns around her. She was treated like royalty. Alas, power percolates through close layers.
Coming back to Ron Watts, he still is in USA. On Day one feeling like the Londoner who beat the French to host the Olympics. And the very next day reeling under the bomb blasts. Watts desperately wants to come back to India. He knows where the Power and Money is. He wants to convert more gullible Hindus to Christianity. But the Court order means that he should be arrested at the airport when he lands in India and dealt with as per the laws of the land.
Has Ron’s time, run out?
